Mission

Signal without the noise.

Every week, thousands of articles are published about AI. Most repeat the same talking points that have been repeated for months. Many are written to generate clicks and fear, not understanding. AI Decoded filters the noise and finds a select few articles to keep people informed.

AI Decoded is a weekly reading list and a career-impact analysis site. It is not a product pusher, nor is it meant to create infinite content. It is a briefing built for people who need to stay current without being consumed.

Methodology

How the career data is built.

The career-impact scores are derived from three data inputs: Bureau of Labor Statistics occupational employment data, GitHub Copilot and equivalent tool adoption surveys, and peer-reviewed productivity research from MIT, Stanford, and arXiv. Risk scores are updated periodically. Transformation scores are also updated as new tool-adoption data becomes available.

The scatter plot is defined by the following. X-axis: AI tool adoption rate within that occupation, based on surveys from LinkedIn and Stack Overflow. Y-axis: measured productivity impact in studies where AI assistance was introduced. Dots in the upper-right quadrant are high adoption and high impact. This is the region with the most transformed roles.
